For the rest of us, it is really helpful to know that jeans with a slight stretch and straight legs can produce a slimming effect. Also darker colored denims are more slimming than the lighter shades.

Flared jeans look great on long-legged ladies but be aware that the flare can make short legs look even shorter. If you are under 5?3? straight or tapered jeans are probably a better choice. Tapered legs emphasize curves
